LCBO will be opening again as Tuesday July 23, 2024 as per their website.

EFFECTIVE JULY 5, 2024

It was announced on Friday July 5th that all Ontario LCBO stores (wine, hard liquor, coolers etc) are on strike and will be closed for two weeks. The news release says that there will be limited stores/hours open again on July 19th . We do not know which ones will be open at this time. The website will have the most up to date information. www.lcbo.com

 The Beer Store will still be open. Although, we anticipate shortages and less variety.

 Please plan accordingly for your trip. While the limit for alcohol to be brought across the boarder untaxed is 40oz per person, you are still able to bring more across, you will just have to pay the duties and taxes on anything more then this limit.

At Matt & Janelle’s Nungesser Lake Lodge Inc we will be providing a bait receipt to our guests for bait purchased from us directly. If you wish to buy bait else where, be sure to keep your receipts!

Anglers using or possessing baitfish or leeches for fishing in a Bait Management Zone where their primary residence is not located, must obtain them from the holder of a commercial licence and be able to immediately produce a legible receipt upon request by a conservation officer. Bait fish or leeches, whether live or dead, can only be possessed or used within two weeks following the date on which they were obtained. Receipts are not needed for other forms of bait such as worms.

For the 2024 season please note there is NO BAIT to be brought from the US into Canada.
